1. Primary crushing (pre-shredding): First, the complete waste tires enter the heavy-duty tyre shredding machine through a chain conveyor. The double-axis or multi-axis knife rollers in the shredder tear the tires into rubber blocks of about 50-150mm in size through strong shearing and tearing forces.
2. Wire separation: The crushed rubber block mixture will enter a strong magnetic separator, which uses magnetic force to effectively adsorb and separate the steel wires in the rubber (such as tire bead wires and cord wires) to ensure the purity of subsequent rubber products.
3. Fine crushing and granulation: The rubber blocks without steel wires enter the rubber crusher (such as a double-roll crusher or a granulator) and are further sheared and ground into rubber particles of the required size. By replacing screens with different apertures, the particle size of the final product can be controlled.
4. Fiber separation and screening: When the rubber particles pass through the screening equipment, they are usually separated by vibrating screens and air separators to remove residual nylon or polyester fibers and ensure the purity of the rubber particles. Rubber particles of different sizes will also be accurately screened at this stage.
5. Final output: After multi-stage crushing and separation, high-purity rubber particles, rubber powder, or steel wire are obtained, which are collected separately by conveyors and can be directly packaged and sold or enter the next step of processing and utilization.
