A sandblasting machine is a kind of equipment that uses compressed air to spray sand onto the surface of the workpiece at high speed to clean or change the shape. Compared with manual sandblasting machine, the sandblasting machine has the advantages of easy operation, high efficiency, and saving manpower and material resources. Sandblasting machines are widely used in the surface treatment of products of various materials, such as metal, glass, wood, plastic, ceramics, stone, etc.
The working principle of the sandblasting machine is as follows: first, the sand material is loaded into the sand storage bucket or sand storage bin, and then it is fed into the sandblasting gun through the conveying device. The blast gun consists of a nozzle, a tubing and a handle, and the nozzle is generally made of carbide or ceramic to resist abrasion. When compressed air flows into the nozzle from the trachea, a negative pressure is created inside the nozzle, which sucks in the sand and accelerates it to supersonic speeds, creating a high-velocity jet. This jet is like a sharp knife, which can carry out powerful impact and cutting on the surface of the workpiece, remove dirt, oxide layer, burrs and other impurities on the surface, or change the shape and roughness of the surface.
The effect of the sandblasting machine mainly depends on the following factors: first, the size and shape of the nozzle, which determines the speed and direction of the jet; second, the type and particle size of the sand, which determines the strength and cleaning capacity of the jet; third, the pressure and flow rate of the compressed air, which determines the stability and duration of the jet; fourth, the distance and angle between the workpiece and the nozzle, which determines the coverage and uniformity of the jet on the surface of the workpiece; fifth, the material and shape of the workpiece, which determines the response and bearing capacity of the workpiece surface to the jet.
The sandblasting machine can achieve a variety of effects, such as: removing rust, oil, oxide layer, etc., increasing surface roughness, improving coating adhesion, etc., creating special gloss effects such as matte, matte, pearl light, etc., engraving patterns, texts, logos, etc., changing surface topography, enhancing hardness, etc. The sandblasting machine can choose different parameters and modes according to different needs to achieve the ideal effect.
