A sandblasting machine is a kind of equipment that uses compressed air to spray sand onto the surface of the workpiece at high speed to clean or change the shape. The difference between the sandblasting machine and the manual sandblasting machine is that the sandblasting machine can realize the process of loading and unloading, conveying, positioning, sandblasting and other processes of the workpiece, improving the production efficiency and quality, and reducing the labor and cost.

The working principle of the sandblasting machine is to use compressed air in the pipeline to transport the powdery particles (diameter 1~4mm) materials from one place to another, and in the process of converting kinetic energy into potential energy, the high-speed moving sand particles will wash the surface of the object and improve the surface quality of the object. The sandblasting machine usually consists of the following parts: compressed air source, cyclone separator, sand pipe, spray gun, workpiece conveying system, control system, etc.

Sandblasting machines have a wide range of applications, and can surface treat products of various materials, such as metal, glass, wood, plastic, ceramics, etc. The sandblasting machine can achieve the following functions:

Remove impurities such as rust, oil, oxide layer and other impurities on the surface of the workpiece, and improve the cleanliness and adhesion of the workpiece;

Change the roughness and gloss of the surface of the workpiece, and increase the aesthetics and wear resistance of the workpiece;

Different textures and patterns are formed on the surface of the workpiece to increase the decoration and personalization of the workpiece;

Pretreatment is carried out on the surface of the workpiece to prepare it for subsequent processes such as painting, electroplating, welding, etc.
