The sandblasting machine uses compressed air to transport powder granular materials from one place to another, converting kinetic energy into potential energy, so that high-speed moving sand washes the surface of the object and improves the surface quality of the object. It makes full use of the advantages of high conveying efficiency, wide configuration space, large transmission distance and convenient centralized control of air conveyor. At the same time, it has the characteristics of simple structure and convenient operation. Its disadvantage is that the dust is large, and a set of air compression equipment needs to be configured, with high investment and high power consumption. The common faults and troubleshooting methods of sandblasting machine are shown in the following table.
(1) The stirring nozzle or the rubber pipe connected to the stirring nozzle is blocked
The main reason for the blockage of the stirring nozzle or the rubber tube connecting the stirring nozzle is that the sandblasting machine inevitably stops after working for a while. After stopping, the water in the scrub that is closed in the hose will slowly flow into the tank, and the scrub will accumulate in the hose, causing the hose to clog. The stirring nozzle is fixed at the bottom of the tank. In order to unclog the hose, the tank must be emptied of the abrasive fluid, then drilled into the tank and the entire hose must be pulled out for cleaning. Maintenance is very difficult.
(2) Blockage of the gun in the gun group
The slurry flows back from the compressed air pipe connected to the gun to the air supply main, from which it flows to the water filter bowl in the air supply triplet, filling it with slurry. With the exception of a small number of clogged abrasive pipes, most cases are due to clogging of compressed air pipes with relatively small pipe diameters. Since the spray gun compressed air pipe has a one-way switch, which is composed of a rubber stopper and a spring, the compressed air enters the spray gun air pipe, and the spring elasticity is overcome with the help of air pressure, theoretically the compressed air stops, and the rubber stopper should close the inlet pipe under the action of spring elasticity to prevent the slurry from flowing back from the air pipe. However, the rubber plug cannot completely close the pipe due to fatigue damage to the spring, decreased elasticity, or slurry interference around the one-way switch. At this point, the slurry will flow back along the gap to the air duct at a relatively low pressure. To prevent slurry reflux, you should:
(1) When the sandblasting machine is working, attention should be paid to the spraying of the spray gun compressed air and frosting liquid, and if the air or frosting liquid is blocked, the flow rate should be dredged in time to be reduced;
(2) Replace the spray gun with damaged one-way switch in time;
